Build a compliance review file for the exact product, intended use and destination. Request a traceable specification, the proposed applicable requirements and supporting reports. Questions for the importer, supplier and qualified reviewer
- Product: which model, revision, materials, intended user and use does the evidence cover?
- EU: what is the reason for any proposed CE marking, and how are product safety and traceability responsibilities documented?
- UK: which territory, product rules and current marking route are being considered?
- Chemicals: are EU and Great Britain requirements assessed separately for the actual materials?
- US: which federal, state, intended-user and buyer requirements have been reviewed for this camping product?
- Reports: who issued each document, on what date, for which configuration and method? Can the issuer verify it?
- Changes: will a material, coating, battery, accessory or packaging change require a fresh review?
- Release: who signs off unresolved questions, and where are the approved documents and order scope recorded?
