An in-house team, not a content agency
The Seawing blog is written by the engineering and sourcing team at Zhangjiagang Seawing Import & Export Trade Co.,Ltd., a 30-person OEM/ODM manufacturer based in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China, serving smart-home and outdoor-gear brands across North America and Europe. The guides come from the people who quote, tool and ship these products — not from an outside marketing desk.
That is deliberate: sourcing decisions turn on numbers a supplier only knows from running the line. When a post gives an MOQ, a price band or a certification pathway, it is the same figure we would give you on a quotation.
More about the company →The disciplines behind the byline
Engineering & Product Development
Industrial designers and IoT engineers who take a brief from CAD and prototyping through tooling and mould development — the people who know why a spec costs what it does.
Sourcing & Quality Control
The sourcing and QC side that selects materials, runs in-line inspection and consolidates SKUs into workable container loads — the source of our MOQ, lead-time and landed-cost numbers.
Compliance & Export
The team that arranges destination-market lab testing and certification per order and handles DDP logistics, so guidance on customs and conformity reflects real shipments.
How these guides are written
The blog exists to help buyers make sourcing decisions, so it is held to the same standard as a quotation: grounded, dated and honest about its limits.
- Every operational figure — MOQs, the 30% deposit terms, sample lead times, our ~7,000 m² / 10-line / ~180,000-unit annual capacity — is our own real data, not an estimate borrowed from elsewhere.
- Price bands, comparison tables and process diagrams are built from specs we actually quote and produce; we do not publish fabricated ratings, review counts or benchmark numbers.
- Articles carry a visible publish and updated date, and we revise them when a standard, a price band or one of our own processes changes.
- Where a guide simplifies a decision, it links to the deeper article and to the relevant product or contact page rather than overstating a single answer.
Have a project the guides don't cover?
Send us your specification, target market and volume, and the same team that writes these guides will come back with MOQ, lead time and a quotation.
